How it works

The project follows the following scheme:

  • 1.Volunteer’s engagement
  • Shipment of the sampling tubes to volunteers
  • Recovery of the water samples and
  • Shipment of samples to the University of Naples "Federico II" Department of Chemistry and DiSTAR for microfiber and microplastic analysis including analysis of sandy sediment samples from the shoreline
